Scientists create invisibility material

American scientists have created a substance that can make objects invisible to the eye by bending the visible light around them.

The material developed by California University researchers at Berkeley, can control light's direction of travel, Huffington Post reported.

Scientists believe the finding can help develop systems for rendering invisible people and large objects such as ships.

The study, funded by the American military, followed an earlier research at Imperial College London that was conducted with microwaves.
